Job Title: Consultant in Public Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Public Health to join our team. As a key member of our Public Health department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of our population.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking public health professional to make a real impact in our community. You will work closely with our Health and Wellbeing Board to deliver our vision for improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective public health strategies to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities
  • Work closely with our Health and Wellbeing Board to deliver our vision for improving health
  • Lead on health improvement initiatives and projects, including developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to public health
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on public health issues to senior managers and other stakeholders
