About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Fundraising to join our team at Bradford Cathedral. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that supports our mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community leaders
  • Manage and motivate a team of fundraising professionals to achieve fundraising targets and goals
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in fundraising and philanthropy, and apply this knowledge to inform our fundraising strategy
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective fundraising approach
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising and development, with a strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation
  • Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practices, including GDPR
