Health and Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated physiotherapist to join our occupational health service in Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This Band 6 position comes with an estimated annual salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 based on experience.

Role Overview
  • Conduct assessments and provide treatment for employees with musculoskeletal conditions and other health issues, promoting health and wellbeing initiatives in the workplace.
  • Evaluate physiotherapy referrals using established criteria to determine priority based on urgency and impact on work performance.
  • Collaborate with occupational health, psychology, and occupational therapy teams to deliver group sessions and support employee rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes to ensure high-quality care and adherence to legal requirements.

The successful candidate will be based at Aintree and may also conduct satellite clinics at Broadgreen and Royal Sites.

Responsibilities
  1. Health Promotion: Promote employee wellbeing through active participation in workplace visits and health initiatives.
  2. Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to address musculoskeletal conditions and other health issues affecting employee work performance.
  3. Return to Work: Implement rehabilitation programs to aid recovery and improve functional capacity, focusing on returning employees to work.
