Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Pediatric Healthcare Specialist, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children in the community with complex needs.

About the Role

This rewarding role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. You will be expected to follow up-to-date care plans, ensuring that you are aware of the client's needs and wishes. Your primary focus will be on providing holistic child-centred care, helping the child/young person to meet their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality nursing care to children with complex needs, working collaboratively with the family and multidisciplinary teams.
  • To develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • To work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • To maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Registered Childrens Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin.
  • Previous paediatric nurse experience, preferably with a background in caring for children with complex needs.
  • Experience in peg feeding (preferably Amika pump trained) and catheter care is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including generous holiday entitlement and ongoing training and development opportunities.
