About the Role

Calex UK is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing performance and learning data to identify opportunities and risks, and provide strategic recommendations to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyse investor feedback and performance data to identify opportunities and risks, and provide detailed reports and recommendations to address underperformance or highlight opportunities.
  2. Create and maintain a performance forecast, distributed to all relevant stakeholders.
  3. Develop and maintain a performance reporting framework, ensuring that reports provide the correct insight in the right format to support changing business needs.
  4. Provide ad-hoc scenario-based re-planning of activity in response to changing business needs.
  5. Identify and coordinate activity that simplifies and automates outbound contact campaigns, reporting, and inbound contact management.
  6. Build and maintain excellent relationships with the wider customer experience team and Brand teams to drive engagement, support business initiatives, and provide insight on network engagement.
About You
  1. Previous experience in a business analysis function or role where this is a predominant requirement.
  2. Commercial awareness, critical thinking, and ability to make decisions and implement at pace.
  3. Highly numerate with experience of performance analysis, scenario planning, and forecasting, as well as creation of data-driven strategic planning.
  4. Excellence in creating high-quality reports and presenting them to stakeholders with recommendations.
  5. Range of experience in using tools to build reports, analyse data, such as Excel Power Queries, MS Power Automate, Power BI, etc.
  6. Confident to be able to influence stakeholders through presenting information and insight.
  7. Self-motivated and results-driven, highly adaptable with high resilience and an advocate for change.
  8. Confidence to challenge the status quo and have the resilience to be challenged.
  9. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desired but Not Essential
  1. Understanding/experience of motor trade retail.
  2. Understanding/experience of learning and development service provision.
What We Offer

Up to £37,000.00 dependent on experience, plus car allowance of £328.50 per month (Total £3942 pa), 25 Days Paid Annual Leave, Calex Employee Benefits Package (inc. High Street Discounts, Online GP, Welfare Scheme).

Pre-employment Checks

Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. This includes contacting all nominated references, as well as checking candidate ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK. Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks (confirmation will be provided through the recruitment process). The nature of this role may necessitate that we undertake a DBS check.
