Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Leighton Buzzard team at Age UK. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Store Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and team management.
- Lead and motivate a team of Sales Assistants and volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective retail processes to drive sales growth and improve customer experience.
- Manage stock levels, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with Age UK's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Store Manager and other team members to achieve business objectives.
- IT literacy and numeracy skills, with experience of using retail systems and software.
