- Lead and motivate a team of Sales Assistants and volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective retail processes to drive sales growth and improve customer experience.
- Manage stock levels, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with Age UK's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and events to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Store Manager and other team members to achieve business objectives.
- IT literacy and numeracy skills, with experience of using retail software and systems.
