About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Team within Forensic Services at The Humber Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership, assessment, and management of patients on the community caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer medical leadership and contribute to the on-call rota for the wider Forensic Service.
  • Provide psychiatric care for specialized community forensic patients.
  • Develop high-quality community services, providing patients with credible alternatives to extended periods of inpatient stay.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with a strong service user focus and an interest in service development. Essential qualifications and experience include CCT registration in Forensic Psychiatry or equivalent. Desirable experience includes working within custodial settings.
