Job Title: Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3
Job Description:
The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Childcare Apprentice at Jack and Jill Day Nursery in Corfe Mullen. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children, while working towards your Level 3 NVQ in Childcare.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive and supportive environment for children to learn and develop.
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Conduct observations and contribute to weekly planning.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Be a role model at all times, demonstrating excellent behavior, manner, and appearance.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
Requirements:
- GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
- Able to gain a clear DBS.
- Passion for working with children and commitment to gaining qualifications in this field.
Working Hours:
- The nursery is open all year-round, from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 5.00pm on Friday.
- The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
