About the Course
Tops Day Nurseries is offering a free Level 1 Childcare course for individuals aged 16-18 who are looking to start a career in childcare. This study programme is designed to provide an introduction to childcare, with quality work experience and practical, tutor-led workshops/1:1 sessions, as well as some online learning.
Course Details
- Term time only course
- Access to bursary funding to support with any costs associated with the programme
- All uniform and resources are provided free of charge
- Great access route into paid apprenticeships
- Opportunities to upskill English and Maths
What to Expect
As a student on this course, you can expect to gain a solid understanding of childcare principles and practices, as well as develop your skills in working with children. You will also have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities, such as Tops Forest School, cooking school, and Boogie Mites.
