Job Title: Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3

Job Description:

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Childcare Apprentice at Jack and Jill Day Nursery in Corfe Mullen. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children, while working towards your Level 3 NVQ in Childcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a positive and supportive environment for children to learn and develop.
  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning through play.
  • Conduct observations and contribute to weekly planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Be a role model at all times, demonstrating excellent behavior, manner, and appearance.

Requirements:

  • GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
  • Able to gain a clear DBS.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8.00am to 6.00pm.
  • Friday: 8.00am to 5.00pm.
  • Minimum 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.

Jack and Jill Day Nursery is a vibrant and welcoming environment, situated in the heart of Corfe Mullen village. Our nursery offers a spacious 'open-play' area, a 'Big Hall', and two further rooms, providing ample opportunities for children to learn and play.
