Job Description

NEC Software Solutions is a leading developer and supplier of mission-critical solutions to blue light emergency services and other public sector organizations. We help them protect and save lives by providing innovative software solutions.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our internal engineering solutions, including customer remote access. You will also resolve network-related incidents within contracted SLA timescales and provide third-line support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve internal engineering solutions, including customer remote access.
  • Resolve network-related incidents within contracted SLA timescales.
  • Provide third-line support for network-related issues.
  • Support the wider network engineering team in network solution delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on network and security experience, with CCNA or higher (CCNP highly valued).
  • Understanding of networking protocols and experience with configuring and installing various network devices and services.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network, and security diagnostic tools.
  • Proven experience working to ITIL best practices.
  • Full, current driving license.
