About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our talented Kitchen team at the Cultra Inn at the exclusive Culloden Estate and Spa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision of the kitchen to ensure the Hastings standards of preparation and presentation are maintained.
  • Supervise kitchen employees to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen function.
  • Promote a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are fully understood and implemented.
  • Train and coach junior Kitchen team members to provide effective and efficient service.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with other hotel departments and suppliers.
  • Ensure the security of kitchen and storage areas is maintained.
  • Ensure the kitchen areas, fixtures, and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Ensure a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene, and security legislation and company policies and procedures.
About You

We would love you to have similar previous experience gained within a quality catering establishment.

Required Criteria:

  • Right to Work in the United Kingdom
  • Previous experience at a similar level gained within a high-quality catering operation
  • NVQ level 2 or the equivalent in Food Preparation and Cooking and hold a recognised current Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A clean and tidy appearance
  • Good communication skills

Desired Criteria:

  • Educated to GCSE Standard or the equivalent including English and Maths
  • Customer Service, Food Production, Chefing Skills, HACCP/Food Safety Management Skills, Supervisory Skills
