About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Support Services Team at SNG Formerly Sovereign Housing Association. As a key member of our Supply Chain division, you will be responsible for coordinating van stock, material sourcing, and waste management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Van Stock Coordination: Lead the coordination of van stock, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Material Sourcing: Source materials for delivery teams, enhancing 'right first time' performance outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance targets and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure achievement.
  • Systems Management: Work with the Systems Team to manage van stock and core stock ordering solutions.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to trades and stakeholders on van stock software and processes.
  • Process Review: Review material and waste procedures, performing assurance checks and re-training as necessary.
  • Supplier Management: Analyze supplier data to provide insights, trends, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Product Catalogue Management: Manage supplier product catalogues, including price increases, additions, and removals.
Requirements
  • Supply Chain Experience: Solid experience in supply chain management, preferably in a building environment.
  • Administration Skills: Strong administration skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
