Job Title: Child Mental Health Practitioner - CYPMHS

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child Mental Health Practitioner to join our CYPMHS team in Wirral. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions and support.

About the Role:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and young people with mild to severe mental health difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, formulations, and risk management planning to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to colleagues to promote excellence in practice.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, policies, and best practices in child mental health to inform your work.

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with a recognized national body (e.g., HCPC, NMC, Social Work England).
  • Nationally recognized post-qualification, continuous professional development (CPD) related to the core profession.
  • Therapeutic training to intermediate/diploma level.
  • Significant post-qualification experience working within a CYPMHS or child mental health-related field.
  • Experience of working with students/learners and providing clinical supervision.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,392 to £42,618 per annum pro rata.
  • A relocation package of up to £8,000 for eligible candidates.
