We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Project Lead to join our team at the Department of State Growth.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity for two years. The estimated salary for this role is $136,605 to $145,825 per annum, plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-level strategic advice and recommendations on program management, procurement strategies, contract administration, grant deed management, and risk management.
  2. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with program partners and project consultants to ensure joint commitment to program success.
  3. Manage resources and oversee all phases of programs and projects, including briefing and managing consultants, reviewing contract documentation, and administering payments in accordance with industry standards.
  4. Manage financial, information, human, and physical resources in line with Government and Departmental policies, ensuring defined outcomes are delivered.
  5. Develop and report on grant deeds, reviewing documentation, administering payments, and managing risks efficiently.
  6. Support Project Steering Committees and Working Groups to ensure timely decisions for successful program delivery and Tasmanian Government commitments.
