Fire Security Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Security Engineer to join our team at a large static site in Leicester. As a Fire Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of IP and analogue CCTV systems, conventional access control systems, conventional and addressable intruder detection and fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test, commission, and service IP and analogue CCTV systems
  • Install, test, commission, and service conventional access control systems
  • Install, test, commission, and service conventional and addressable intruder detection and fire alarm systems
  • Assist in multi-trade support within the team
  • Participate in planned and reactive maintenance across all fire alarm and security/CCTV systems on site
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to install, test, commission, and service IP and analogue CCTV systems, conventional access control systems, conventional and addressable intruder detection and fire alarm systems
  • Ability to work as part of a team and assist in other areas where necessary/emergencies
  • Flexibility and self-allocation of training courses
  • Funding for additional formal qualifications
