Role: Fire Alarm Engineer

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £37k + basic overtime and on call where needed

Position: Permanent Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at Active Personnel. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a long-standing electrical contractor specializing in Domestic works and Security and Intruder Alarms.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out fault finding and panel work, servicing, planned maintenance, reactive, and remedial calls.
  2. Effectively communicate with customers about their service/fault/remedial visit, advising on outcomes and additional required works.
  3. 80% of the work completed will be on Domestic properties; the rest is in Industrial and Commercial properties.
  4. Other duties will include intercom, access control, CCTV, and some fire alarm work.
  5. Work locally mainly in Leicestershire.
Requirements:
  1. A full manual UK driving license.
  2. Systematic approach to solving complex problems with strong attention to detail.
  3. Experience in installation, service, and fault finding of intruder alarm systems.
Benefits:
  1. 20 holidays plus bank holidays.
  2. A van will be supplied for work use only.
  3. All power tools will be supplied.
  4. Call out rota 1 week on, 7 weeks off - filtered to techs first so actual call outs are rare.
