About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Barnardo's. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Bolton store, leading a team of colleagues to maximize sales and profits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the store's inventory and ensure that stock is adequately displayed and maintained.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase customer engagement and drive sales growth.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory, labor, and overhead costs.
- Collaborate with the retail team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance store operations.
- Ensure that the store is maintained in a clean and safe condition, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
