Store Manager

Barnardo's is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our Ipswich Store team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, leading a team of colleagues to maximize sales and profits, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the store's inventory, including stock levels and replenishment.
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Implement promotions and visual merchandising to drive sales and attract customers.
- Maintain a high standard of store presentation, including windows and interior displays.
- Manage cash handling and security procedures, ensuring compliance with Barnardo's policies and procedures.
- Recruit, train, and develop the store team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales and profit growth.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Basic IT skills, with the ability to use a range of software applications, including point-of-sale systems.
