Allen Motor Group is a leading Ford dealership in Northampton, seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily, weekly, and monthly financial analysis, including the production of the monthly management accounts for a CMA, covering multiple sites.

The role offers a highly attractive salary of £32,000 to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer a range of benefits, including:

To be considered for this position, we require candidates to have previous finance and accounts experience. Strong Excel skills, including the use of vlookups, xlookups, and pivots, are essential. Previous motor trade accounts experience would be highly beneficial, as would experience with Kerridge.

The key duties and responsibilities of the Management Accountant role include:

  • To produce regular and management accounts within company deadlines
  • To be responsible for collating and checking weekly departmental forecasts
  • Prepare and submit manufacturer composites
  • Assist with internal and external auditors, particularly at the end of the year
  • Month-end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work to create a supportive environment for all departmental managers and encourage communication for any financial matters.
