We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at Zero Surplus. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data from various sources, including Nielsen, Kantar, and GfK, to provide key insights and recommendations that add value to our business and meet retailer requirements.

You will proactively develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, becoming the go-to person for advice, guidance, and support with category range reviews. Your primary goal will be to champion the customer internally and work with internal teams to drive category growth.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret a broad range of data sources, including ad hoc and continuous data, to pull out key insights and provide tangible recommendations.
  • Proactive development of relationships with internal and external stakeholders to become the go-to person for advice, guidance, and support.
  • Championing the customer internally and working with internal teams to drive category growth.

This role requires 2 days on average either at the office near Huntingdon or out on the road with retailers. We are open to candidates from category, brand, or national account roles, but you must be prepared to travel across the UK and spend regular time in the office.
