We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team at The Royal Parks. As a key member of our conservation department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing biodiversity across our iconic green spaces.

About the Role

As a Conservation Officer, you will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful conservation projects that boost ecological resilience. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing conservation projects, offering specialist advice, and helping secure funding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and delivering conservation projects that enhance biodiversity
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals
  • Providing specialist advice on conservation management and habitat restoration
  • Helping to secure funding for conservation projects
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of scoping, designing, and delivering conservation management and enhancement projects in a range of habitats
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and engagement skills

The estimated salary for this position is £32,666 - £36,921 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including 26 days' annual leave (pro rata) plus public holidays, increasing to 29 days after 3 years service, and a pension scheme.
