**Job Opportunity: Time Served Service Technician**

We are seeking a skilled Time Served Service Technician to join our team at J & S Montgomery Ltd. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing agricultural equipment, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake servicing on machinery as specified, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Complete all pre-delivery setup on new and used equipment, ensuring it is ready for use.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment, using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Assist the farmsight department with diagnostics and repairs on all JD AMS equipment.
  • Work extended hours and weekends as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the role.
  • Use standard computer applications and internet functions to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Hold a full driver's license, enabling you to travel to farms and workshops as needed.
  • Work on a range of lawncare equipment throughout the year, developing your skills and expertise.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and ongoing support, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Time served experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of agricultural equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Full driver's license and a clean driving record.
