We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced service technician to join our team at J & S Montgomery Ltd. As a service technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our agricultural equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Undertake servicing on machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Complete all pre-delivery setup on new and used equipment to ensure it meets our high standards.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist the farmsight department with diagnostics and repairs on all JD AMS equipment to ensure seamless integration.
  • Work extended hours and weekends as required to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Utilize standard computer applications and internet functions to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Hold a full driver's license to enable safe and efficient transportation of equipment.
  • Work on a range of lawncare equipment throughout the year to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and ongoing support to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in training (both in-house and external) and development as part of a talented team to stay ahead of the curve.
