Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing clinical pharmacy services to patients, working closely with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and effective management of medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medicine reconciliation, medication reviews, and assessing patients' ability to manage their medicines.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Contribute to the education and training of pharmacy staff, promoting best practice and continuous professional development.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician or pre-registration Pharmacy Technician nearing qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our team.
