Procurement Manager Opportunity at Ontic

Ontic, a leading provider of Extended Life Solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the procurement team to achieve key results in support of the business and the company's external supply chain.
  • Develop and drive strategy, partnering with legal and contract teams to negotiate contract solutions that support business KPIs and mitigate supply risk.
  • Develop the supplier base through performance monitoring, improvement plans, and supplier risk mitigation plans.
  • Identify, rationalize, and create strategies for the supply chain based on supplier competency and value for respective commodities/sub-commodities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in commodity management, procurement management, or senior technical buying role, ideally from an Aerospace background.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to deliver innovative solutions to commercial problems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present identified solutions for stakeholder approval.
  • Strong IT skills, with knowledge of ERP systems (Visual and/or Syteline ERP experience preferred).
