Procurement Specialist

Ontic, a leading provider of Extended Life Solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the procurement team to achieve key results in support of the business and the company's external supply chain.

Responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and risk management for your segment of the supply chain and ensure their alignment with achievement of the company's key results.

Requirements:

Experience in commodity management, procurement management, or senior technical buying role. Ideally from an Aerospace background, but we welcome applications from individuals experienced in manufacturing, service, or maintenance businesses.

Commercially minded, with the ability to deliver outside-of-the-box solutions to commercial problems.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present identified solutions for stakeholder approval.

Confident in making decisions and possess excellent negotiation and organizational skills.

Strong IT skills with a knowledge of ERP systems (Visual and/or Syteline ERP experience is preferred, but not essential).

This role will require travel to our suppliers both nationally and internationally.
