Ontic is seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operations of the procurement team, driving key results in support of the business and its external supply chain. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategy, performance management, and risk mitigation for your segment of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the procurement team to achieve key results in support of the business and the company's external supply chain.

• Develop and implement the overall strategy, performance management, and risk mitigation for your segment of the supply chain.

• Establish strong relationships with suppliers, driving continuous improvement of business-level processes.

• Develop and drive strategy, partnering with legal and contract teams to negotiate contract solutions that support business KPIs and mitigate supply risk.

About You:

• Experience in commodity management, procurement management, or senior technical buying roles, preferably from an aerospace background.

• Commercially minded with the ability to deliver innovative solutions to commercial problems.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present solutions to stakeholders for approval.

• Strong IT skills, including experience with ERP systems (Visual and/or Syteline ERP experience preferred).
