About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication, using the Emed system, and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Manage emergencies, using your skills and experience to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • At least 6 months experience as a Senior Carer in a residential setting with dementia care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and take appropriate action.
