We are seeking an experienced Adult Community Occupational Therapist to join our innovative team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, located in Harlow, Essex, United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality assessment, advice, treatment, and evaluation of patients referred to the acute Inpatient Occupational Therapy Service. Key areas of focus include Acute Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, A&E, short stay wards, Frailty, Palliative Care, and possible community rotations with partners in Essex and Hertfordshire.

Rotations and place of work may change according to the evolving nature of integrated pathways across acute and community teams. A flexible and adaptable approach will be necessary to ensure delivery of an excellent OT service across all pathways.

Main Duties
  • To provide an Occupational Therapy Service for Acute Inpatients at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
  • Work as an autonomous professional according to College of Occupational Therapy 'Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct' and the 'Health Professions Council Regulations'.
  • Actively participate in Continuing Professional Development and contribute to the development of in-service training.
