About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone's Roslyn Court development in Ely, Cambridgeshire. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later life to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality individual care to residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
  • Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans.
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed.
  • Help residents with their shopping and provide general support with daily tasks.
About You

We are looking for a warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people. You will have a minimum of 1 year of UK Health and Social Care experience and a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

What We Offer

As a Care and Support Assistant with McCarthy Stone, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £11.96 per hour, with the possibility of up to £13.26 per hour for working evening and weekend hours. You will also receive a range of benefits, including 28 days' holiday (pro rata), life assurance, company pension, and access to our Employee Assist Programme.
