The University of Nottingham invites applications for a Materials Scientist to join our team working on 3D printing innovation. As a key member of our research group, you will contribute to the development of new materials and printing techniques for creating functional structures and electronics.

In this role, you will work with leading experts in the field of additive manufacturing, using cutting-edge equipment and facilities at the Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM). Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and characterise novel materials and printing methods.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a pioneering project that has the potential to revolutionise the manufacturing industry. We offer a £26,500 - £31,500 per annum salary, plus benefits, to successful candidates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials sciences and/or digital design, as well as an inquisitive spirit motivated to develop world-leading expertise.

Candidates must possess or expect to obtain a 2:1 or first-class degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physical Sciences related discipline. Due to funding restrictions, only UK candidates are eligible for this opportunity.
