Our client is a leading leisure management company with sites across the home counties. They have a great reputation for developing their staff in head of departments and general managers.



Job Overview:

We are looking to speak to candidates who are passionate about fitness and wellness and want to work in an environment where they genuinely make a difference. As a Senior Duty Manager, you will be responsible for managing the lifeguard team and swim programme, as well as overseeing all wet operations.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our customers and potential customers, handling and escalating complaints where appropriate.
  • Manage the lifeguard team and swim programme, ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.
  • Oversee all wet operations, including swimming facilities, sauna and steam rooms, and gym.
  • Work closely with the Swim and General Managers to improve pool operations and provide the best customer experience possible.
  • Ability to work open and close the facility, and work some weekends.


Requirements:

We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain excellent relationships with our customers and potential customers, handling and escalating complaints where appropriate. You must be able to swim and pass an NPLQ (ideally NPLQ qualified already). Experience of working in a multifaceted business with swimming facilities and in a Supervisor/Duty Manager role is essential.
