Job Title: Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of multiple M&E projects, ensuring financial performance, compliance with contractual obligations, and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Lead the financial management of M&E projects, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure profitability.
  • Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favourable terms and compliance with company standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks across M&E projects to protect the company's financial interests.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain: Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and subcontractors.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors and commercial staff, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting their professional development.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present detailed financial and commercial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in commercial management, preferably in the M&E industry.
  • Strong financial management skills, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of commercial staff.
