Job Title: National Account Manager/Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager/Commercial Manager to join our team at Michael Page Sales. This role reports into the Senior Commercial Manager and is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading FMCG company.

About the Role:

The successful National Account Manager/Commercial Manager will be responsible for:

  • Full P&L responsibility, including forecasting and reporting
  • Creation and agreement of Joint Business Plans (JBP)
  • Promotional Performance analysis and development of recommendations to maximise promotional effectiveness
  • Daily commercial contact with accounts
  • Work with Marketing to develop and implement Customer Plans, Instore and Online Activations Plans
  • Effective evaluation of Promotional Performance and creation of Action Plans
  • Liaising with Supply Site Planners to ensure full Customer Service Level (CSL)
  • Project Management of New Product Development (NPD)
  • Developing strong relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business
  • Working closely with the marketing team to support brand initiatives and promotions
  • Utilising market research to identify potential business opportunities
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the company's reputation
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts to assist in business planning
  • Representing the company at industry events and trade shows
  • Collaborating with the broader sales team to achieve company targets
About You:

A successful National Account Manager/Commercial Manager should have:

  • Strong Commercial Acumen
  • Full P&L responsibility, forecasting and reporting
  • Analytical Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence
  • A strong understanding of the FMCG market and consumer trends
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A results-driven approach, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full Driving License
  • Ability to travel when required - customer visits/sites
