Job Summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our inventory control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of everyone within your area of responsibility, managing inventory, and supporting manufacturing, test, and wider business departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the health and safety of everyone within your area of responsibility, including leading/managing risk assessments, safety protocol adherence, and ensuring relevant PPE adherence.
  • Manage inventory, including receiving items against purchase orders, releasing incoming inspection paperwork, and booking in project, stock parts, and consumables.
  • Kit out parts against project-specific BoM's/Kit list's, maintaining full traceability.
  • Inventory management of stock and consumables, including ensuring Min/Max stock levels are maintained and controlling cleanroom items, gloves, mob caps, coats, etc.
  • Obtain quotes and raise purchase requests for stock and consumable items.
  • Control of ground support equipment – assembly, vibration, TVac plates, etc.
  • Assist in the packing and dispatch of finished goods in accordance with relevant ADR guidelines for transport of dangerous goods.
  • Perform annual stock counts.
  • Attend project procurement meetings and provide relevant data to procurement sheets.
  • Liaise with finance as required.
  • Internal support to all departments as required.
Requirements
  • Driving license preferred.
  • Forklift license (not essential).
  • Proficient skills with MS Office/Office 365 suite of programmes.
  • An ability to work in a multi-project environment, effectively prioritize, and work to detailed scheduled plans and tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of handling, storage, and shipping of dangerous goods.

  • Excellent people skills and a proven team worker and an ability to work independently.
  • Target, output, and objective driven.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet demanding business needs.
  • Able to use initiative with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
