North Yorkshire, United Kingdom SAVE THE CHILDREN-5 Full time
Transform Lives with Us

We are passionate about giving second-hand clothing a chance of going to a good home and raising vital funds for our work, which supports children in the UK and around the world.

Key Responsibilities

As a volunteer in one of our shops, you will have the opportunity to get involved in various tasks such as sorting and pricing stock, engaging with customers, ringing items through the till, creating window displays, or keeping the shop floor organized. Our team players also contribute to advocating for children's rights both in the UK and globally.

Flexibility and Variety

You can commit to whatever amount of time suits you, from a few hours a week to a full day. Many volunteers support us either in the morning or afternoon each week. We encourage applicants to choose a schedule that works best for them.

Skills and Qualifications

We welcome applications from people with a wide range of skills and experiences. You don't need any retail or shop experience as full training will be provided. Essential qualities include being a team player, open to learning, and willing to follow our policies.

Why Choose Us?

In over 110 countries, we provide lifesaving short-term help and push for deep-rooted social change to empower children to take control of their future. Every child has the right to learn, access food, and receive medicine when sick. By volunteering with us, you'll be contributing to this mission.

Next Steps

After submitting your application, we will invite you for an informal trial shift. This is a great opportunity to visit the shop, meet some of our existing volunteers, and try out some of the tasks you would be supporting as a shop volunteer.

Important Details

Please note that this is a voluntary, unpaid role based in the UK. Unfortunately, we cannot provide support with visa requests. The estimated salary for this position is £8-10 per hour.
