In-Home Care Support Professional

At Home Instead, we understand the importance of providing exceptional care and companionship to our clients. As a Companionship Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently and comfortably within their own homes.
You will be visiting clients in the local area, fostering companionship and providing emotional support to promote a sense of wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Traveling to visit clients and offering support according to their care plan and wishes.
- Supporting clients with daily tasks such as making meals and keeping their home clean and tidy.
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as getting dressed, while maintaining their dignity.
- Taking clients out to places of their choice, such as local shops or cafes.
Requirements for the role include:
- Experience is not required, as we offer comprehensive in-house training.
- You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can provide an excellent service.
- Have a caring and friendly disposition to create lasting relationships with clients.
- Hold a valid driving license and have your own dependable transport.
- Be available to work alternate weekends.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.40-£14.40, plus 35p/mile mileage reimbursement. Additional benefits include early pay scheme access, refer-a-friend bonus scheme, paid training, and opportunities for career progression.
