About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and caring Care Support Specialist to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently and comfortably within their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to visit regular clients and offer support according to their care plan and wishes.
  • Foster companionship and provide emotional support to clients, promoting a sense of wellbeing.
  • Support with making meals and keeping the home clean and tidy.
  • Allow clients to maintain their dignity while assisting with personal care tasks such as getting dressed, for those who require assistance.

Requirements:

  • Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
  • You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent, dependable service.
  • Must have a caring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
  • Must have a valid driving license and have your own dependable transport.
  • UK residency is essential, and we cannot provide working visas.
  • Must have good working flexibility, including alternate weekends.
