Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum

SRG is a flourishing biotech organisation based in the UK.

This is a newly created role where you will work closely with the Senior Production Scientist to support key duties in the manufacture and quality control of specialist reagents.

  1. Reagent Preparation and Quality Control: You will be responsible for preparing reagents, lyophilisation and quality control, as well as production of small-medium scale batches.
  2. Handling Receipt of Reagents and Chemicals: You will handle receipt of reagents and chemicals, including aliquoting, storage and uploading onto the QMS as necessary.
  3. Collaboration with CMO's and In-House Specialists: You will work alongside CMO's and in-house specialists to support production scaling activities.
  4. QC and Validation Protocols: You will create and implement QC and validation protocols, ensuring that regulatory processes are followed meticulously.
  5. QC Monitoring and Reporting: You will report any QC pass and fails, monitoring any non-conformance closely and taking corrective action.
  6. SOP Compliance and Record Keeping: You will follow SOP's, maintaining accurate records and document all production activities in accordance with company policy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A background in an IVD development setting, working to ISO 13485 standards in a production or QC team.
  • Proven industry/commercial lab experience, ideally where there are devices in development.
  • Good proficiency with RT-PCR along with other classic molecular skills such as reagent and/or chemical handling.
