Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Domestic Support Specialist to join our team at University Hospital Ayr. As a key member of our facilities team, you will provide a wide range of domestic services to support clinical services throughout Ayrshire and Arran.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic services to support clinical services, including cleaning and maintenance of hospital facilities.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment and use cleaning materials safely and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the facilities team to ensure a safe and respectful environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Participate in departmental training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience in industrial cleaning or a healthcare setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and practical skills.
  • Good communication, verbal or otherwise, and practical skills are essential.
