Job Overview:
First Military Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading International Defence business to recruit an Avionics Deputy Team Leader for their Holyhead depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving and maintaining Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of 3 Technicians and 2 Supervisors on the daily operations of the avionic component maintenance facility.
- Allocate repair and maintenance tasks to the team, monitor progress and provide guidance as needed.
- Update records and documentation on component repairs and maintenance activities.
- Provide training and mentorship to Junior Technicians.
- Participate in meetings and briefings to discuss operational priorities and strategies.
- Report to the maintenance team leader on progress and any issues encountered.
- This position also involves manual work.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of avionics maintenance and repair procedures is essential.
