About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ward Clerk/Receptionist to join our team at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to delivering a high-quality service to patients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming and professional service to patients and visitors, responding to queries and providing information as required.
- Manage and coordinate the smooth running of the ward and outpatient areas, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Support the clinical teams by attending and outcoming outpatient attendances, admitting, transferring and discharging patients, and ensuring that patient demographic details are accurate and up-to-date.
- Liaise with clinical teams to ensure that all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner, and that investigation appointment requests are received and processed correctly.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure that patients receive a professional and caring service within the necessary clinical timescales.
