We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at GSL Education - London. As Science Teacher (2ic), you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Science and leading the science department to new heights. Below are the responsibilities and requirements for this exciting opportunity:

Responsibilities
  • Undertake a designated programme of teaching across all key stages.
  • Plan teaching in accordance with faculty schemes of work and National Curriculum programmes of study.
  • Assist the Head of Science in managing the department and curriculum.
  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5.
  • Develop engaging and inspiring science lessons that challenge and motivate students.
  • Support the development of the science curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Mentor and support other science teachers within the department.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in science.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Science Teacher, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong subject knowledge across all science disciplines.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
