About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality sports coaching to students. You will design and deliver engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting students in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans in sports coaching.
  2. Coach students in various sports and physical activities at Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14) and Key Stage 4 (Ages 14-16).
  3. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and industry standards in sports coaching.
  5. Support students in developing practical skills and theoretical knowledge in sports coaching.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. Experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary school level.
