Payroll Advisor Role

Oakleaf Partnership, a leading not-for-profit provider, is seeking a skilled Payroll Advisor to join their team. This exciting opportunity involves administering and processing payroll payments and deductions for UK and overseas employees on a monthly basis using Oracle.

The ideal candidate will assist and oversee duties such as maintaining accurate overpayment records, inputting data into the database daily, and providing first-line support for complex pay queries. A comprehensive knowledge of PAYE and Payroll Procedures, including processing statutory payments and manual calculations, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate records of overpayments to ensure compliance with policy and process.
  2. Input overpayments data into the database on a daily basis to ensure timely processing.
  3. Provide first-line support and guidance to employees and management on complex pay queries.
  4. Monitor and review reports to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  5. Support HR Services teams and Finance on compliance and governance requirements.

Requirements:

  1. A comprehensive knowledge of PAYE and Payroll Procedures.
  2. Experience with HR and payroll database systems, preferably Oracle.
  3. High level of numeracy skills with ability to undertake complex calculations.
