About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Theatre Nurse/Senior ODP to join our Theatre department at Renacres Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless patient care and efficient theatre operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements
- HCPC/NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Flexible and positive attitude.
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
