Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector

We are looking for a skilled Contract and Procurement Lawyer to join our team on a locum basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Public Sector, preferably in a Local Authority.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on public procurement and construction law, with expertise in JCT and NEC contracts. They will also provide legal advice and assistance on various aspects of corporate and commercial law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice on contracts, procurement, corporate, and commercial law
  • Assisting with the implementation and application of GDPR in respect of contracts
  • Acting on behalf of the Council in respect of contract procurements
  • Advising on construction contracts and providing guidance on IT systems used in the industry

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with experience in Public Sector law
  • Good knowledge of public procurement and construction law
  • Hands-on experience working with JCT and NEC contracts
