About the Role
The Head of French & Spanish is a key member of the departmental leadership team at Thomas's College, playing a vital role in shaping the academic direction of the school. This exciting opportunity offers an exceptional candidate the chance to lead a dynamic team of language educators and contribute to the growth and development of our students.
We are seeking an outstanding individual who can inspire and motivate our students to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality language education and will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the curriculum and will be able to develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to the needs of all learners. They will also be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What You'll Need To Succeed
- A degree in a relevant subject, such as French or Spanish
- Proven experience of teaching languages in a secondary school setting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
